ANNE BRETON
Welcome to 2026! Gallery opening hours: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. (Monday to Saturday in the 11th arrondissement // Tuesday to Saturday in the 6th arrondissement)
Anne Breton was born in 1977 in Nancy and lives and works in Lille.
After studying art and design in Belgium, England and France, and working in the fields of video and textiles, she turned her attention to ceramics in 2011. With this new medium, she approaches sculpture through modelling. Her work consists of stoneware pieces, with the addition of engobe or enamel. In the clay, she leaves room for the expression of materials, imprints and movement. She creates refined works to share her visions. Her sculptures form groups of imaginary creatures that make up a universe with fluid boundaries, in which new forms coexist harmoniously. She likes to think that they create invisible links and act as companion pieces, helping us to envisage a new world: a sensitive space inspired by nature and its beings, a poetic ecosystem.
