BENJAMIN CHAUD

Benjamin Chaud is an author and illustrator of children's books. He studied drawing at the École des Arts Appliqués in Paris. From there, he naturally went on to study at the École des Arts Décoratifs in Strasbourg. As the creator of the famous character "Pomelo" (published by Albin Michel Jeunesse), the illustrator has published nearly a hundred books, many of which have been translated into other languages. Having become a leading figure in children's illustration, he has been nominated several times for the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award and won the Society of Illustrators Gold Medal in New York in 2015. He now lives in a small village in the Drôme region.
