CAMPANA STUDIO

Émilie Sandoval and Pierre-Emmanuel Lyet make up the duo Campana Studio, a couple of illustrators and directors who work with both sound and image. 
Together, they create a gentle, colourful world populated by dancing characters that they enjoy animating and staging. Their graphic influences are many and varied, ranging from graphic designer Paul Rand to cartoonist Jean-Jacques Sempé, via the crazy world of Isao Takahata's manga My Neighbours the Yamadas.
As a duo, they take on unusual commissions that showcase drawing in space and explore all forms of hybridisation: paper sculpture, murals, animated projections, augmented reality and VJing. Both are graduates of the Arts Décoratifs in Paris and enjoy directing and animating their own drawings. 
They have worked on scenography and animated murals for Le Bon Marché and MK2, the Louis Vuitton Foundation, the Inspire Festival and the Terre de Paroles Festival. 
In November 2025, they will exhibit "Nous", their first exhibition of unique pieces in display cases at the Slow Galerie in Paris.
