LISE MEUNIER

Lise Meunier, a self-taught artist, lives and works between Paris and the Nièvre region. Drawing inspiration from the natural world around her, as well as folk and religious art, she has, over time, created a sort of ceramic cabinet of curiosities, endlessly blending ex-votos, reliquaries, everyday objects, and anatomical or botanical elements.
Like talismans, remedies for melancholy, they tell us the stories we want to hear: sensitive worlds, landscapes of the heart where the meandering paths of the soul intertwine with a fascinating natural world.
