MARIE NORTIER

Marie Nortier is an illustrator who lives and works near Besançon. Through a blend of painting and drawing, she depicts places and landscapes shaped by the accumulation of traces and memories – all of which serve as sensitive testimonies to our relationship with nature and with one another. Her background as an architect has enriched her depictions of spaces and atmospheres, an experience that continues to inform her current artistic practice. She undertakes commissions in the publishing, press and communications sectors, and creates her own original works.
