Ombeline was born in Pas-de-Calais in 1998. After receiving a solid education at ESAL Epinal and HEAR Strasbourg, she now allows herself to indulge in every fantasy, using colours and dreams as her tools of the trade! In her quest to enchant the world, her ink drawings are imbued with magic, humour, and gentle nostalgia for bygone traditions and childhood tales. Like Jacques Demy, who transformed the town of Rochefort to create the setting for his musical, she observes the places and landscapes around her and turns them into a fairyland.
