This screen-print is inspired by the dualities of everyday life. Highly influenced by Vanitas 'Momento Mori' imagery, this piece depicts the inseparability of life and death, with two figures bursting force from a vibrantly coloured yet distinctly staid skull motif.

Screen printing is a very old printing technique (10th century) which uses a system of stencils (or "screens"), allowing to realize drawings by superimposing layers of colors, each stencil corresponding to a color.
