Ombeline was born in Pas-de-Calais in 1998. After receiving a solid education at ESAL Epinal and HEAR Strasbourg, she indulges every fantasy, using colour and dreams as her tools of the trade! In her quest to enchant the world, her coloured ink images are imbued with magic, gentle humour, and a sense of nostalgia for bygone traditions and childhood tales. Like Jacques Demy, who transformed the town of Rochefort into an enchanting setting for his musical, she observes the places and landscapes around her and turns them into a fairyland.
