Camille Gobourg

Like in a dream, Camille Gobourg's illustrations immerse us into the heart of fantastical landscapes with vibrant colours, inspired by both Claude Ponti's albums and Miyazaki's films.
These rich compositions, true odes to nature where mystery meets gentleness, magically reveal the beauty of the plant world: in Camille Gobourg's work, landscapes have a soul and offer refuge to the multitude of creatures that inhabit them, as if to ‘re-enchant’ the bond between beings. The vaporous and fluffy style of the drawings conveys the mischief and sensitivity characteristic of the artist's imagination, whose images, dressed in greens, purples and yellows that respond to each other between depth and luminosity, navigate the boundaries of reality.
